We haven't seen anything yet when it comes to Kickstarter records. Pebble is seeing a steady ~140 pledges an hour, selling about 175 watches / hour and pulling in about $20,000 an hour. At this rate, by the end of the backing period, they should have about 130,000 pledges for about 175,000 watches and well over $18 million in pledges. Amazing.

• Introduce Ourself:

Wingsedge.com was infused out of the passion to positively pattern social networking to empowering, enriching and inspiring every networker’s interaction. It has been modeled in pattern with diverse top social media platforms around the world, and has been seen to be workable and applicable to meeting the products vision in terms of function and expression.

We're a small group led by Haastrup Steven who is a Project Manager, an Idea strategist and a natural entrepreneur. The team is also made up of administrators, planners, developers, graphics designer, consultants and always under the guidance of an advisory board comprising of top chief executives, entrepreneurs and the Nigerian ICT youth ambassador/a Microsoft consultant/a Member of the United Nations committee of eLeaders on youth and ICT.

• Telling our story

Wingsedge.com is the first and major product of the group as regards giant trailed inventions. It has embedded in it features we call ‘virtual products’ which serve as the content feature that makes the difference driven by any social media network.

These features serve their different networking functions revolving around the mission of the website – which is ‘To excellently pattern the influence of social networking into a purposeful, exciting and value impressive communication platform’.

The product was developed into a viable prototype for implementation in 10 months (October 2010 – August 2011) which comprised of the graphical design, product networking, page functioning, virtual access, viable financial strategy integration, web navigation and an association of the creatively pioneered features.

• Asking for people's support and explaining why we need it

The project until now has been self-funded, but in order to deliver a working prototype, we need to bring in funding to support our developers and cover basic administrative and technical costs.  $200,000 will allow us to get started at the least. But our limit shown (i.e. $30,000 is just us playing safe and aspiring to break a record of open software tech against all odds, and with you we can do that)

The project has been in the works for 18 months now and all that has been achieved in development has been just 3 of the 6 major features aside sub features. We aim to round up the project in the next 3 months and we believe that Kickstarter engagers will not let us down.

Your support means we can turn Wingsedge into a reality, begin operation on the website, and helping to empower life’s and dreams around the world!

• Telling people what they'll will be getting for their money (i.e., the rewards)

We've got some sweet rewards for our backers for both support and funding, and we hope you'll give us the opportunity to return the generosity to you. We can't do this without you; so if you jive with our mission, please help us by sharing and spreading the word even after funding.
We also want to offer rewards of referrals to individuals who direct/redirect people to this project, with rewards as equivalent as certain project financial backers.

OUR FINANCIAL ADVENTURE

Big tech projects cost big money, support and time. Meeting up with the pace of platforms offered today, our journey to delivery of a ‘wow product’ will need all of everyman’s support to make the project a reality.

To finance the development, promotion, and set up of these massive undertakings, group startups like Wingsflair Tech has to rely on external sources like publishers, investment firms, or loans.  And while they fulfill an important role in the process, their involvement also comes with significant strings attached that can pull the game in the wrong directions or even cancel its development altogether.  Thankfully our expansion of operations to the United States and the United Kingdom has opened up viable alternatives which we have discovered to have emerged and gained momentum in recent years.
